Jeffrey A. Nemecek graduated from Hamilton College back in 1970, with a Bachelor’s Degree and in 1974, he moved on to obtain his Juris Doctor Law Degree from theUniversity of Chicago Law School in 1974. He has been admitted to practice last in Alabama since 1975, New York since 1977, Minnesota since 1984, Florida in 1987 and New Jersey since 1989. Overall, Jeffrey has more than 30 years’ experience in the practice of law, primarily in the areas of public and project financing.
In addition to running his own firm, the Law Offices of Jeffrey A. Nemecek, from 1992 through 1997, Jeffrey has worked with a number of very prominent firms, primarily in their public financing practice. These days, he can be found as a Counsel at Denton’s in New York City, where he is primarily addressing the Puerto Rico fiscal crisis and debt restructuring, but he has also been Of Counselor a Partner at Axiom Legal, from 2011-2016, Tillinghast Lichtenstein LLP, from 2006-2008, and about a half dozen other prominent firms over the past 40-plus years.
